Trade Area Analysis - Thiessen Polygons

This is a project that shows maps of a demographic analysis of retail stores. The study area done here is in the Greater Vancouver Area in British Columbia, Canada. The project focuses on a simple method behind conducting a trade area analysis using Thiessen polygons and the resulting maps.

Mapping and Assessing Fire Vulnerability - Alberta & British Columbia: national parks region


This is a research project aimed in assessing forest fire vulnerability. We used a regression analysis and analytical hierarchy process in justifying how much each variable is accountable for starting forest fires. The variables are elevation, slope, temperature, and land cover type. The study was done using Banff National Forest in Alberta, Canada.
